An accident in Franklin Township knocked out power to over 500 residents Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 3 p.m. an accident in the 7000 block of Country Club Lane sheared off a utility pole.
At least one person reportedly suffered a minor injury as a result of the crash.
In addition to the Franklin Township residents without power, Central Electric Cooperative reports that nearly 200 residents in neighboring Worth, Muddy Creek, and Brady Townships are also being affected.
