Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who robbed a Grove City gas station armed with a gun earlier this week.
According to State Police, a man entered the Marathon Service Station on South Center Street Extension, near Route 208, in Springfield Township, Mercer County about 1 a.m. Tuesday (June 14) and demanded money from the clerk.
The man was holding a handgun and did make off with cash and a carton of cigarettes, police say. He fled on foot and then got in a getaway car, which fled west on Route 208 and south on Interstate 79.
The man is described as white, heavy set, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with blonde or light brown hair in a short buzz cut. He is thought to be in his 20s or early 30s.
