The Carnegie Science Center is livestreaming weekly virtual science assemblies for families and community groups of young learners.
The weekly livestream of Science on the Road Goes Camp-tastic begins this Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. and will continue through August 19th.
Students in kindergarten through 8th grade can keep summer learning going with fun and education programs like the Science of Hockey covering topics such as reaction time, chemistry, and forces of motion through science and math demonstrations. Other assemblies include Who Wants To Be An Engineer focusing on simple machines and physics as well as Wild By Design dealing with biology and chemistry.
Those interested in securing access to the virtual assemblies at a cost of $15 for a family of up to five people or $150 for a classroom of up to 35 students should contact the Carnegie Science Center.
