An area swimming pool is now re-open after closing earlier this month when a number of kids got sick after swimming in the pool.
The Adams Ridge community pool officially re-opened last Friday—the pool had closed for 10 days when eight children came down with symptoms similar to E. coli and C-Diff.
According to the community Facebook page, the Pennsylvania Department of Health gave approval for reopening after investigating the pool’s physical plant.
The community’s home owner’s association has replaced the pool management company and is increasing the testing of pH levels on a daily basis.
