The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1 last night in Florida. The Pens had five different goal scorers in the game, with Sidney Crosby scoring on a power play. Tristan Jarry stopped 20 of 21 shots on goal, while the Pens had 40 shots on the Tampa Bay net.
The Penguins will visit the Carolina Hurricanes tonight. Face-off is 7pm. Pre-game on WISR is 6:30pm.
The Pens enter the game three points behind the Hurricanes, who fell 4-0 to the Washington Capitals last night.
The Pens return home after tonight’s game and will host Florida Tuesday.
