A woman from Mercer County is facing charges for her role in helping a man involved in a violent robbery.
The charges against 45-year-old Trisha McGinty of Sharpsville stem from a home invasion and robbery in Washington Township back on March 28th.
Police say 31-year-old Dylan Hinchberger stole several guns and severely injured Cody Roxberry.
Hinchberger then stole Roxberry’s car before crashing it just a few miles from the home on Stewart Road.
Police say McGinty and two other unnamed individuals picked up Hinchberger and took him to a home on Barkeyville Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.
She then helped arrange a ride for Hinchberger to a Springfield Township hotel and told false information to police who were trying to take him into custody at the hotel.
She’s facing charges for hindering apprehension and obstruction of justice.
