The Mars Area School Board took action relating to their Elementary Expansion project at a special meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
The Board voted 7-0 to reject all bids received last week, citing higher than expected amounts (John Kennedy and Matthew Duff were absent).
The new plan is to rework the building specifications and rebid the project, in hopes of receiving more affordable prices.
Construction on the Elementary Additions and Alterations project is now expected to be delayed until late fall of this year.
