First responders were called to Moraine State Park yesterday after a teenager suffered possible heat stroke.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 4:30 p.m. for a possible heat stroke patient at the Pleasant Valley Beach at Moraine.
The 13-year-old was treated by EMS crews at the scene. The child’s current condition is not known.
Medical officials say to make sure you stay hydrated, avoid strenuous outdoor activities, and find shade or air conditioning if possible.
