A newly introduced Game Commission program aimed to reduce crop damage will now debut statewide.
The “Certified Hunter Program” provides an opportunity for hunters to go on property that is overrun with deer and impacting crops.
The certified hunters must have been licensed for at least four years and pass a specialized program.
The program launched last year in Southwestern PA and saw success according to Game Commission officials.
