A former Butler County Magisterial Judge has died.
Judge Joseph O’Donnell Jr. passed Saturday morning while in the hospital.
O’Donnell was a 1962 Karns City Area High School graduate and worked for Pullman Standard before becoming an auditor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In 1988, O’Donnell was elected as the District Judge of Chicora before retiring in 2006.
A viewing will be held at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora from 6–8 p.m. today and 1–3 and 6–8 p.m. Thursday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.
O’Donnell was 82.
