The next steps in renovating a new location for the Evans City district magistrate’s office is happening soon.
Butler County Commissioners approved an $87,000 agreement for renovation work of Ritzert Hall, which is the former church hall of St. Mathias in Evans City.
The building will soon house the Evans City district magistrate’s office, which is currently on Main Street. The county is leasing its current office—they will own the Ritzert Hall building.
Commissioners say the hall will also serve as a valuable spot for trainings and other potential events.
