The Butler VA Health Care System plans to host a week-long celebration event later this week.
Beginning tomorrow (Monday), a daily gathering will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center.
Veterans, their families, and caregivers are invited to engage with VA staff about benefits such as education, claims, and home loans, as well as different programs like Health Promotion and Pharmacy. Tours will be available upon request and refreshments will be offered each day.
Those planning to stop by are asked to wear red, white, and blue in honor of America’s 250th as well as bring non-perishable food items for Butler VA’s Emergency Food Pantry in support of Veterans that are homeless or in need.
