After a 14-year-old crashed into a building a Harmony man has been charged for allowing him to drive.
On June 7, police were called to a home on the 300 block of Monroe Street for a vehicle into a building.
According to charging documents, 43-year-old Michael Stockett allowed his 14-year-old son to drive a vehicle while Stockett was in the passenger seat.
Stockett told police the child hit the gas instead of the brake.
The vehicle was significantly damaged and was towed from the scene.
Stockett was charged with endangering the welfare of children and allowing an unpermitted unlicensed driver.
