The public is invited to attend an upcoming event to hear about local history.
The South Butler Community Library is hosting local historian Fred Caesar, who will share his research at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Caesar will give a multimedia presentation about Saxonburg native John Augustus Roebling who designed and started work on the Brooklyn Bridge before passing away 157 years ago next week.
Registration for this free event is preferred but not required. Refreshments will be provided.
