The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania may soon have its own official spirit thanks to a bill in Harrisburg.
After passing through the senate with bipartisan support, the bill has advanced to the state house Liquor Control Committee.
The bill looks to make Rye Whiskey the official spirit of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Senator Elder Vogel is a co-sponsor of the bill.
