A former Vice President will once again have a role at a local college.
Grove City College has announced former Vice President Mike Pence will serve as a distinguished visiting fellow for the Center for Faith & Public Life for a third consecutive year.
“I am honored to return to Grove City College’s classrooms this fall as a distinguished visiting fellow for the Center for Faith & Public Life and look forward to my third year as part of this truly unique Christian college,” Pence said in a statement.
The role will see Pence continue to teach political science courses on faith and public life, lead seminars and mentored students, help host Grove City’s annual Ronald Reagan Lecture, and provide leadership through the Center.
The Center for Faith & Public Life is part of Grove City’s conservative think tank The Center for Faith & Freedom, which is dedicated to advancing the vision and values that undergird American freedom.
“Vice President Pence has become a valued member of the Grove City College community through the wisdom, encouragement, and personal investment he brings to our students,” College President Bradley Lingo said. “His example of faithful leadership and service to the common good is one that I hope inspires our students as we prepare them to serve and lead.”
