The Pittsburgh Riverhounds fell 2-1 to El Paso last night in United Soccer League play. El Paso scored in the final minute of stoppage time for the victory. Riverhounds midfielder Robbie Mertz scored his first goal of the season for Pittsburgh. He had given the ‘Hounds a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute. For Pittsburgh, the loss ends a four-game unbeaten streak. El Paso won their fifth game in a row. The Riverhounds host Tampa Bay Saturday.
