A Butler man is facing charges after he allegedly traveled to meet an underage girl in Clearfield County.
Police say 48-year-old James Cogley was taken into custody as part of a sting operation when he went to a gas station in Curwensville in Clearfield.
Police say Cogley thought he was meeting a 15-year-old girl, but that was an online decoy.
The conversation between the decoy and Cogley started in June according to police. During that time, he sent sexually explicit photos and said he would bring the girl back to his house in Butler.
Police worked with 814 PredHunters during the investigation.
