The A-C Valley School District was briefly in a modified lockdown after a safety concern was reported earlier this morning.
It started around 10:30 a.m. when a parent informed the high school of an employee from a local business that had been fired and was disgruntled.
District officials say they opted to implement a modified lockdown out of an abundance of caution.
They called state police in Clarion, who investigated and found the terminated employee did not make any direct threats against the district.
The lockdown was lifted and the school is operating under a normal schedule.
