Chase Briscoe held off teammate Christopher Bell to win Nascar’s return to Chicagoland Speedway Sunday night for his first victory of the season. It was the Cup Series first race at the Illinois track since 2019. For Bell, it was his fourth runner-up finish of the season. He continues to recover from a broken left wrist in a Michigan crash last month. Joe Gibbs Racing completed a sweep of the top three spots, with series points leader Denny Hamlin finishing third after starting from the pole position. The drivers head to Atlanta this weekend for another Sunday night race.
