Butler Catholic School is recognizing a local meteorologist as the latest distinguished alum.
The school announced Jill Swzed of WTAE will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award.
Swzed was a graduate of Butler Catholic School in the mid-2000s and also attend St. Joseph High School.
She currently works as a meteorologist at WTAE; she also remains an active member of St. Killian’s Parish in Cranberry.
Swzed will be honored at an award ceremony on Friday.
