Butler City Council is expected to act later this month to approve a company that will provide a new website for the city along with long-term support and maintenance.
Councilman Don Shearer has spent the last couple of months putting together a request for proposal and sifting through 26 bids received to achieve five finalists that he presented to fellow councilmembers Thursday evening.
With costs ranging from $31,000 to $59,000 the five finalists under consideration include Premier Marketing, Exemplifi, Neumeric, QLogic, and Team Dash.
Shearer plans to send out some final questions to the finalists from councilmembers and city staff about training and references before Council anticipates making a final decision at their May 29th meeting.
