A Butler man accused of firing a gun in a Butler City apartment pled guilty and was sentenced yesterday.
In September of last year, police in tactical gear and heavily armed served a warrant at an apartment on the 200 block of North Washington Street.
According to charging documents, police were attempting to arrest 26-year-old Dustin Clark after it’s alleged he fired a gun in apartment and was planning a surprise attack on the victim.
Clark pled guilty to one count of aggravated assault and was sentenced to 12 to 24 months in prison and 48 months of probation. Clark will also have to complete 50 hours of community service along with paying $2,349 in fines, fees, and cost of prosecution.
