Residents in Butler Township will see continued trash service from their current provider next year.
Township Commissioners have approved a new three-year deal with Waste Management through 2030 to provide solid waste disposal and recycling services.
Residents will see an 8% increase the first year or about a dollar a month before the next two years increase at a rate of 5%.
A notable change from the previous deal is that glass will once again be accepted as part of regular recycling collections.
