With the Alameda Pool now open, swimmers may notice work happening soon on the big waterslide.
Butler County approved a $44,000 project for slide restoration.
The county did consider purchasing a new slide, but say the cost of $250,000 was a little too pricey.
The slide will remain open during the work, which should take about two weeks.
