A Cranberry Township police officer is receiving recognition for his training, sound judgement, and commitment to public safety.
Sergeant Mike Marshall was recently named the recipient of the Stop Stick Ltd.’s February 2026 Hit of the Month Award.
Sgt. Marshall was commended for his successful deployment of a Stop Stick during an incident involving a U-Haul truck fleeing from an assault and attempted kidnapping in Butler City.
Marshall’s actions brought the pursuit to a safe end after police tracked the vehicle on Evans City Road into Jackson Township.
