The extreme heat warning remains in effect through tomorrow night, with highs today in the mid-90s and lows staying in the 70s.
Weather officials say heat-related illnesses increase significantly during hot days. They encourage everyone to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, and to stay out of the sun.
