A new report shows that the number of people who died in farm-related injuries in Pennsylvania was below average in 2024.
The study released by Penn State says that 19 people died from farm-related incidents.
That is lower than the average of 28 deaths per year.
The study also showed that nearly 75 percent of the victims were actively working on the farm when they were injured. The other victims died due to farm equipment injuries or by an animal—they were all children under 10.
