The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue continued 2026 with tax collections totaling $3 billion last month.
Revenue from sales tax in February totaled $1.1 billion while personal income tax was $1.3 billion for the month.
The Motor License Fund received nearly $240 million for the month from gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine, and fee revenues.
Although February collections were just over 1% less than anticipated or about $35 million under estimate, the fiscal year-to-date General Fund collections remain nearly $382 million or about 1.5% over estimate.
