Grove City College will be building an all new baseball field.
The college announced the $3 million project is a part of their capital campaign celebrating 150 years.
The new field will be an all-turf facility. It’s named after William “Bill” Stewart, who was a 1961 graduate of Grove City College and played baseball for the college.
The field will primarily be for the college’s baseball team, but also will be used for community groups, area schools, and other organizations.
This is the latest project that’s a part of a new $20 million Lower Campus fieldhouse that will have new facilities for other athletic teams.
