HIGH SCHOOL SCORES
Baseball
- Butler fell to Norwin in nine innings 5-4 in the opening round of the WPIAL 6A playoffs.
- Seneca Valley defeated Mt. Lebanon 4-3 after a Mason Fisher bloop single in the sixth inning gave the Raiders the lead. Seneca Valley will face Canon McMillan in the semi-finals today at 4 p.m. at Upper St. Clair.
- Mars fell to Peters Township 7-6 in 10 innings in the second round of the WPIAL 5A tournament.
- Karns City advanced to the District 9 title with a 4-3 win over Union/AC Valley. They move on to face St. Mary’s tomorrow—site and time to be determined.
- Slippery Rock faces Fort LeBoeuf in the first round of the District 10 4A tournament. First pitch at 4:30 at Slippery Rock University.
Softball
- Seneca Valley takes on Norwin in the WPIAL 6A semi-finals at Fox Chapel. First pitch at 4 p.m.
- Moniteau faces Redbank Valley in the 1st round of the District 9 tournament.
Lacrosse
- Mars boys advanced to the championship with 13-6 win over Hampton.
- Mars girls are also championship bound after a 13-8 win over Blackhawk.
