A member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith who was found guilty of sexually abusing children will be sentenced in Butler County tomorrow.
In January, a jury found 46-year-old Shaun Sheffer of Harmony guilty of rape and several other charges.
The alleged sexual assaults happened between 1995 and 2000 to children ages 7 and 12. Sheffer was a part of a statewide investigation against numerous members of the Jehovah’s Witness faith.
Sheffer will be sentenced at 9 a.m. tomorrow and faces more than 40 years in prison or life.
