The WPIAL will unveil their playoff brackets for basketball later today. The Knoch boys basketball team completed their regular-season 18-4 overall after defeating Aquinas Academy 71-37 in the Bash At North Allegheny event Saturday. The Knights and North Catholic finished tied for the Class 4A Section-1 title following Friday night victories.
Knoch will join North Catholic, Seneca Valley and Mars as the boys teams in the post-season. For the girls, Seneca Valley, Mars, North Catholic and Freeport have qualified for the WPIAL playoffs.
