A Lyndora man is facing charges after being accused of swinging a knife around and threatening to kill people at a Butler Township home.
On Sunday around 10:30 a.m., police were called to a home on the 300 block of Bessemer Avenue for an angry man with a knife.
When officers arrived on scene, the victims told police that 23-year-old Javon Littlejohn was upset and throwing things in the home. They said Littlejohn got ahold of a kitchen knife and he began threatening people.
Littlejohn eventually calmed down and was taken into custody by police, although he denied ever holding the knife.
Littlejohn is also accused of striking a victim in the home with a closed fist.
Littlejohn has been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, two counts of simple assault, and harassment.
He’s been placed in the Butler County Prison and his bail was $100,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 14.
