A man is facing charges after a 10-year-old was found on an inflatable mattress that had cocaine on it.
Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of West North Street in Butler last Wednesday.
According to charging documents, when officers arrived they found 44-year-old Shynnell Walker going into a bathroom to flush suspected crack-cocaine. Inside another room, police found a 10-year-old on an air mattress that had suspected cocaine residue on it. The room also contained, suspected marijuana, two grams of suspected cocaine, alleged drug packing materials, and $717 cash.
Walker has been charged with endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, tamper with physical evidence, manufacture deliver or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.
His bail was set at $50,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 11.
