A man is in custody following an overnight shooting this weekend at Moraine State Park.
The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday on Bear Run Road. State police say 31-year-old Jevonn Brown of New Jersey was visiting the area with his 29-year-old girlfriend, who is also from New Jersey.
While in the car, the two got into an argument. That’s when Brown allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired multiple shots at his girlfriend.
She was hit multiple times and was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Brown was taken into custody and is facing numerous charges, including attempted homicide.
