Butler Township Police have charged a man for a hit in run crash from last month.
It happened May 4th when police say 63-year-old David Kennedy of Butler lost control of his vehicle heading south on Route 8 near the Bon Aire Plaza.
Kennedy then went into the oncoming lane traffic lane and hit 58-year-old Irene Hawk of Butler who had a 16-year-old passenger in her car.
Hawk and her juvenile passenger suffered minor injuries.
After the crash Kennedy fled the scene but was later taken into custody by officers and charged with a DUI and several other traffic violations.
