
One man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a serious crash Sunday afternoon in Clay Township.
The accident happened on Route 8 near the Muddy Creek Flats around 12:45 p.m.
Dispatchers say a vehicle went over a hillside and into a tree.
When crews arrived on scene, they found one man in the vehicle initially unresponsive. He was extricated out of the vehicle. He soon started to go in-and-out of consciousness.
Crews say the man suffered a head injury and a leg fracture.
A medical helicopter was called and flew the man to a Pittsburgh trauma center.
