Police have identified the person who died in a multi-vehicle accident on I-79 late last week.
Just after 10 a.m. Friday, several emergency response crews were called to the north and south bound lanes of I-79 between the Zelienople and Evans City exits for an estimated 25-vehicle pileup crash.
There were several reported injuries in the accident including one death. Police have identified the person who died as 18-year-old Evan Gingo of Mount Lebanon.
Gingo was a fist year Slippery Rock student, majoring in exercise science.
