Students with the Mars Area High School Student Council are hosting a blood collection event today.
An American Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the school.
Donors must be at least 16 years of age, 110 pounds, and in general good health. All students must present identification in order to donate and those aged 16 must also have a signed parent consent form which is available at marsk12.org.
This drive is open to any parents or community members who are able to donate. Visit redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment.
