Butler County is rolling out new software when voters head to the polls this year.
Commissioners approved the new polling pads, which will be used when voters enter the polling precincts. Election officials say it will eliminate the traditional poll books with a tablet.
The new technology will be available for the public to see next Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at the Butler County Government Center.
The pads will be introduced at select precincts this spring, before being used by all locations this fall.
