The state is introducing its next class of new rangers at parks.
Nearly two dozen graduates of the DCNR ranger trainee program received their assignments over the weekend.
The rangers help with park operations, including educational programs, safety, and visitor services.
The rangers go through a 19-week training program before being placed into a park.
The DCNR is looking for interested applicants for the next class. You can learn more on the DCNR’s website.
