In accordance with a new state law, an online portal to report complaints and challenge prescription drug costs has been launched.
Governor Josh Shapiro signed into law the Pharmacy Benefit Reform Act, giving the Pennsylvania Insurance Department more authority to provide transparency of prescription drug coverage.
The portal will allow people to file complaints related to clawbacks, steering, rebates and reimbursement.
The portal is designed for pharmacies dealing with Pharmacy benefit Managers but the new portal looks to benefit consumers by helping keep prices transparent and affordable across the Commonwealth.
Pennsylvanian’s can still report their complaints to pa.gov/consumer or by calling 1-866-PA-COMPLAINT (1-866-722-6675). View the online portal here.
