A portion of Route 8 was closed last night after a truck rolled over in Butler Township.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on Route 8 South at the intersection with Decatur Drive.
It’s not clear what caused the accident, but the truck was on its side when crews arrived on scene.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own, but there was diesel fuel all over the road.
A HAZMAT team was called and Route 8 was shut down from McCalmont to Decatur.
Crews worked on clean up for more than two hours; the road reopened around 12:45 a.m.
