The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is beginning spring road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include pipe replacement along Three Degree Road in Penn Township. Crack sealing is planned for Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.
Patching will be taking place on Glen Eden Road in Cranberry Township, Route 422 in Summit and Clearfield Townships, Freeport Road in Summit and Jefferson Townships, and Cemetery and Unity Roads in Venango Township, as well as Bruin and Fairview Roads in Parker Township.
Mowing and shoulder cutting is planned for Routes 19 and 422 in Muddy Creek Township, along with Conerty, East Slippery Rock, and Chicora-Fenelton Roads in Donegal Township.
