Drivers who use some local roads should be aware of road work currently underway.
PennDOT crews will be doing road work on Route 528 (Lindsay Road) near the Evans City Reservoir, Route 308 (West Sunbury Road) at Mahood Road, and Route 108 (New Castle Road) between 79 and Slippery Rock.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane as workers begin a high friction surface treatment project that PennDOT officials say will help drivers have better control of their vehicles.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to continue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day until completion.
