The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Boston Bruins for the first of back-to-back games this week tonight. They lead the Bruins by three points for third place in the East Division. The Pens have won five games in a row, and have won 11 of 13 at PPG Paints Arena. The Bruins have been slumping, winning just three of their past 12 games. Face-off is 7pm. Hear the game on WISR beginning at 6:30pm.
The Pens completed a two-game sweep of the Buffalo Sabres following a 3-0 victory Saturday night. Jake Guentzel scored the Penguins game-winner, with two empty-net goals for the Pens in the third period. Casey DeSmith was in net for the shutout. It was his first NHL shutout in two years.
