At least one person is recovering as a result of an accident in Butler Township earlier this week.
Butler Township Police were called to the scene of a crash on Hindman Road near Sheetz Monday, March 27, just after 9 a.m.
According to police, a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Ronald Gifford of Butler hit a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Edward Rishel also of Butler at the intersection of K and L Lane.
A passenger in Rishel’s vehicle complained of pain caused by the crash and was seen by Butler Ambulance EMTs.
