The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded infielder Adam Frazier to the Kansas City Royals in exchange for minor league shortstop Cam Devanney. The 33-year old Frazier has played in 78 games this season for the Bucs as a utilityman, batting .255 with 21 RBIs. He played for the Royals last season and had signed with the Bucs as a free agent.
The 28-year old Devanney has never played at the major league level. The one-time Milwaukee Brewers prospect has 18 home runs and 55 RBIs for the Royals top farm club this season.
