A local power outage Tuesday afternoon is affecting students and staff at Butler County Community College.
The outage started shortly after 2 p.m. with most of the over 600 affected customers in Butler Township along with several in Penn.
Around 3 p.m. all classes and activities at the BC3 main campus were canceled for the rest of the day.
The power outage is believed to have been caused by downed lines.
